Believe it or not, there are still some dirt bike riders who can’t resist the thrill of screaming a 125cc two-stroke to within inches of its life while ripping through the forest or across the desert. The new Beta 125RR is for those people. Made in Italy, the enduro-ready 125RR boasts a liquid-cooled two-stroke engine with Beta’s Progressive Valve power valve system and separate exhaust flange design, which helps to smooth out the power and increase low-end torque, making the engine less peaky, while a piston with two piston rings helps to seal the engine better and increase durability—not typically the strong suit of any 125cc engine. A six-speed gearbox transmits power to the rear wheel. The 125RR engine is wrapped in a Beta-designed chrome-moly chassis with Sachs suspension front and rear. Claimed dry weight is just 207 lbs.
