Regardless of how he qualifies, Jason Anderson is strong from start to finish whenever he lines up. At the 2018 Anaheim I Supercross, Anderson was consistently the fastest rider on the track late in the 450cc main event. En route to his win at the 2018 Houston Supercross, Anderson cut the fastest lap of the main event, and he was the only rider on the track to post a sub 54-second lap during the main event.
