We pulled a jacket from the KLIM Traverse line of waterproof, durable and functional off-road apparel for our gifts priced $250-500 list. The Traverse has been redesigned to offer similar features to those found on Klim’s Dakar line of clothing. They include a Gore-Tex two-layer shell, with a durable Nylon 66 main shell and 500-denier cordura reinforcements on the shoulder and top of the arm. The jacket also features multiple adjustable vents, and two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket for storage. For protection, the Traverse incorporates shoulder, elbow and back pad pockets that are compatible with D30 T5 Level 1 and Level 2 shoulder, elbow and back pads, although these pads are sold separately.
